PHOTOGRAPHERS WANTED: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE MEDITERRANEAN

Photographers Wanted: A Day in the Life of the Mediterranean

Thursday, February 04, 2010
By Joel Stratte-McClure

I'm thinking of getting a number (50) of different photographers to shoot the Med based on different parts of, and anecdotes in, my book(s) -- the monkish monastery on Ile Saint Honorat, the good-bad-ugly-very ugly nudist colony in Cap d'Agde, the cliff I fell off of in Morocco, the sorceress in Spain, the thieving Roma in Italy, you get the drift.

A contemporary ripoff of the old "A Day in the Life of...." books that came out in the 80s.

Might even use a couple of my own pictures, like this sunrise in Ithaca, Greece, or my favorite swimming hole in Southern Italy.
